Allen D. Wademan, 72, of Nicholson died Tuesday Aug.16, 2022 at Geisinger C.M.C., Scranton.  Born in Scranton on July 13, 1950; the son of the late William C. and Ruth M. Conner Wademan. His wife is the former Sharon Stout they have been married for 50 years on April 22, 1972.

Allen graduated from Lackawanna Trail High School in 1968. He became a commercial airline pilot working for US Airways and numerous other companies; He loved to teach people to fly at Seamans Airport and for Marywood University. Loved coaching Lions Jr. Football took the first Lackawanna Trail team to ever win the Jr. Superbowl. He was a cofounder of Lions Club wrestling, helped run Dalton Lions and Tunkhannock Kiwanis Club Wrestling Tournaments.

Surviving beside his wife is a son Ben and his wife Amy of Keysport, IL; daughter Kate Henry and her husband Shane of East Lemon; granddaughters Maranda Henry, Carlie Wademan; grandson Connor Wademan and Dustin Henry; two great-granddaughters Rosie and Macie; Brother Donald and his wife Julie of Factoryville; mother-in-law Mary Stout of Nicholson and two brothers-in-law Russell and Gary.
