The funeral service will be held Saturday at 12 pm from the Anthony P. Litwin Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Factoryville, with Pastor Scott Bixby presiding. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 am – 12 pm. Internment at the Nicholson Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at pancan.org, the Fleetville Fire Company, P.O. Audrey Mae Naylor, 95, of Benton Twp. passed away Tuesday January 11, 2022, at home, with her family by her side. Her husband, the late Robert George Naylor, who affectionately called her “Bunny,” preceded her in death on May 27, 2015.

 

Born in Scranton on March 31, 1926, daughter of the late George and Lillian Yeager Butler, she was a graduate of Waverly High School. Most recently, she was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Glenburn.

 

She and her husband operated Sheringo Dairy Farm for 40 years. They were active in several farming organizations. Audrey was a past president of the Lackawanna County Cooperative Extension and an active 4-H leader for many years. She was a Sunday school and junior church teacher and was involved in numerous activities at Lackawanna Trail School District.

 

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Compassionate Care Hospice for their exceptional care to Audrey.

 

Audrey is survived by four daughters, Rebecca Rust, Benton Twp.; Deborah Petrewski, Benton Twp,; Cassie Dunahoo, Lawrenceville, GA,; and Janet Madani, Gilroy, CA; a son, Daniel Naylor, Benton Twp,; 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Lilas Wagner of Harrisburg.

 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Naylor, Jr.; a daughter, Bonnie Gould; a brother, George W. Butler IV; a sister, Ruth Black; and a grandson Mark Petrewski.
