Beverly E. DeFazio, 84 of Benton Twp. died Sunday February 9, 2025 at Abington Manor, S. Abington Twp. Born in Newark, DE on November 3, 1940; the daughter of the late John T. and Mildred Sarah Argo Craig. She married her husband of 63 years to Larry DeFazio on January 16, 1960.

She owned and operated DeFazio’s Country Inn, Factoryville and DeFazio’s Summit Inn in Clarks Summit with her husband, Larry. She enjoyed going to the Scranton Canoe Club, Lake Winola.  Bev loved her time going to Englewood, FL and watching Larry play the accordion in the Gulf Coast String Band.

Preceded in death by Infant son Larry Jr. and her daughter Laura Lee Morabito

Surviving beside her husband Larry are two sons Craig (Dr. Jessica Pagana) DeFazio of Selinsgrove and Jeffrey (Jonna) DeFazio. San Francisco, CA. Son-in-law Mark Morabito of Oswego, NY Five grandchildren Dylan L. of CA, Nicco L. of CA, Avery M. of DC, Cecilia L. of CA and McAlister J. of Selinsgrove. Brother-in-law Robert (Barbara) DeFazio of Dickson City and sister-in-law Ann Marie (John) Luchansky. Ann Marie is the best sister-in Law that Beverly could have asked for. Ann Marie and John were always looking out for Bev and Larry. Caring and supportive and stable presence and Bev and Larry were so blessed to feel her warmth and love for all those years.

Service will be Saturday April 5, 2025 at 11am from Immanuel Lutheran Church, 238 Reese St. Scranton PA 18508 with Pastor John Zimmerman officiating. Arrangements by Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc, Factoryville.
