Beverly J. Schneider, 80, of Factoryville passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Geisinger C.M.C., Scranton after battling kidney failure.

The daughter of the late Henry J. and Anna G. Williams Huntenburg; born in Flemington, NJ, on September 1, 1944. She went on to graduate from North Hunterdon High School in Annandale, NJ and married the late Raymond E. Schneider on Sept. 9, 1967.

Beverly worked most of her years in the medical profession employed as a receptionist for NROC, Dunmore.  She exemplified her compassionate heart as a personal caregiver in and around the Factoryville area. She was an active member of the Factoryville United Methodist Church and especially enjoyed her Mondays volunteering and sharing laughs in the “Ugly Quilting” group. Also an avid member of the Factoryville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Whether helping prepare church dinners or working the polls during elections, she was very active in her community.

Bev loved so deeply and had the kindest heart. She accepted everyone for who they were and had an impact on each person she interacted with. She had the most bubbly personality and brought so many laughs along with it. Her greatest joys and accomplishments were the love of her husband and the gift of becoming a mom and grandmother.

Beverly is preceded in death by her daughter Tracy, who passed away in August of 1986,  two sons-in-law, Dave Patterson and Jason Reed, sisters, Barbara Morse, Patricia Morse, Mary Ann Duffy and brother, Henry Huntenburg.

Surviving are two daughters: Heidi Patterson and Gretchen Reed both of Factoryville; six grandchildren: Cole, Hunter, Cooper, Hayden, Maddy and Jagger; her sister, Joan Fairchild of Clinton, NJ and many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews.
