Cynthia Rae Foutz Stevenson, 71, of Mechanicsburg passed away peacefully
Tuesday morning at Claremont Nursing and Rehab Center in Carlisle. She was
born in Harrisburg on December 25, 1943, the daughter of the late George
and Helen Eaken Foutz.*

*She was a proud graduate of East Pennsboro High School and the Central
Pennsylvania Business School. She was a member of the Golden Age Society,
local chapters of the Red Hat Society, and the Perry County Choral
Society. Cynthia was an active supporter of Susquenita High School’s West
Side Singers and Band Boosters, as well as the American Field Service (AFS)
and local performing arts groups.*

*Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband James M. Stevenson in 1990,
whom she married in 1971. She is survived by two sons, John Stevenson of
Ellicott City, MD and Andrew Stevenson of Bethesda, MD; a sister Karen
Styers of Santa Fe, NM; and a grandson James B. Stevenson also of Bethesda.*

*Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 11am at Bethany
United Methodist Church, 405 Lansvale St., Marysville, PA
17053. Friends are welcome at the church for a viewing from 9:30-11am
prior to the service. Final interment will be at Evergreen-Woodlawn
Cemetery in Factoryville, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
