Donald Paul Davidson of falls passed away at the Veteran’s Medical Center Wilkes-Barre on Nov. 17. He was born in Sheshequin, Pa on May 17, 1933 the son of the late Conroy and Ruth Davidson. Donald married Anna Mae Martin on June 18, 1955 and they were happily married for 59 years. After high school Don served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He went on to become a carpenter and could build or remodel just about anything. Donald also was the township supervisor for Falls Twp. for many years. Donald was a devoted Catholic and he was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing and bowling in the league at Shadowbrook and hanging out with friends at the Donut Connection and the 52 Diner. Don enjoyed flying and earned his pilot’s license. Above all Don enjoyed spending time with all of his grandchildren. In addition to his parents Donald is preceded in death his 2 brothers “Bud” Bernard Davidson and John Davidson and a brother in law Joseph June Cotter. In addition to his wife Anna Mae, Don is survived by 2 sons Joe and his wife Dawn Davidson of Springfield MO, and James and his wife Michele Davidson of Falls, 2 sisters Romayne Cotter of Ulster and Sharon Heckman and Husband Dick of Milan, Pa. and an Uncle Harold Davidson of Fl, 5 Grandchildren Jon, Jason, Jessica, Danielle, Mackenzie Davidson, and 2 Great Grandchildren Conner and Haylee Davidson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10am from the Church of the Holy Redeemer 2435 St Rt. 92 Falls, Pa. 18615 with Rev Msgr. John Sempa officiating. Friends may call at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock Friday from 4-8pm. Friends are asked to go directly to church on Saturday. Interment will be held at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wyoming. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made out to the Church of the Holy Redeemer and the Lake Winola Fire Company, P.O. Box 73, Lake Winola, PA 18635.
