Donna Ruth Shultz, 81, of Tunkhannock passed away November 10, 2024, in the comfort of her home.

She was born on June 12, 1943 at the Nesbitt hospital in Forty-Fort. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn Parry.

Being a Parry was something that never left Donna’s heart, she kept her baby bracelet that was put on her newborn wrist in her jewelry box to cherish and remind her often of her loving and close relationship with her parents.

Donna was a proud data entry analyst at Sire Power located in Tunkhannock, PA. Being a mother of two and a contributing working woman was very important to her, as she always showed us how to be the best versions of ourselves that we could be. Upon retirement, Donna took on a more present role in each of her grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s lives.

Donna was the matriarch to the Shultz family. She lived her life for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grand children. Being their Nanny was the greatest joy in her life. She was strong, determined, loving, and so generous. To know her was to love her, and to love her was the greatest privilege.

Donna’s husband, Charlie (Papa), often said, “Life for me didn’t start until I met you.” She was and will always be his Tootsie #1.

She is survived by her husband Charles Shultz of 61 years, children Charles Jr (Melissa) Shultz and Christopher (Heidi) Shultz, grandchildren April Shultz, Sadie (Chris) Brown, Hannah Shultz, Haley Shultz, and Lucas Shultz. Great grand children Shea Harvey, Paisley Shultz, Blaine Brown, Charlie Goodwin, and last but not least Benjamin Brown.

Donna was known for scoping out the best deals on QVC, maintaining her beautiful flowers outside of her home, taking care of her beloved dog Chester, trips to Pizza Lovin, and spending all of her time with her husband. Where you would find Donna, Charlie was close by, and vice versa. They were a real life definition and example of true love from beginning to end.

The family is thankful for the staff at Compassionate Care Hospice, specifically Bobbie & Jackie. The love Donna felt for you both was unconditional. You both are a part of our family now.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
