April 13, 1934 - February 27, 2025 Service Date: March 5, 2025 Funeral Home Harding Litwin Funeral Home Gladys Linney Anderson, 90, of Lake Winola passed away Feb. 27, at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart. She was born in Wilkes-Barre on April 13, 1934 and she was the daughter of the late Louis and Verna Dymond Burgess. She was married to the late Gordon Linney who passed in 2001 and the late Roy Anderson who passed in 2005. Gladys worked at Saint Pius where she was a cook. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family, she enjoyed search word and crossword books, she enjoyed going out to eat with friends at Kristi’s Country Kitchen. Glady’s loved to travel, and she created many friendships and bonds along the way. In addition to her parents and husbands she is preceded in death by a son Jeffrey Talcott, brothers Gerald Burgess and Louis Burgess, sisters Eleanor Kinney, Esther Carey, Loretta Adams and Marion Anderson. She is survived by her daughters Debra Petkavich and husband William of Factoryville, Marlene Linney of Scranton, sons, Richard Linney and wife Wendy of Tunkhannock, Dean Linney, and wife Linda of Scranton, Jim Linney of Glenburn, brother Wayne Burgess and wife Marie of Tunkhannock, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Mar. 5th at 11am from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, Pa. A viewing will be held from 9am until the time of the service.
