Helen A. Dolph

Helen A. Dolph, 90, of Nicholson, died Monday at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Dunmore.

She was the wife of the late Roy J. Dolph for 46 years.

Helen was born in Scranton on Jan. 2, 1927 and she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel Spor.  Helen helped run the family farm in Nicholson and worked at Bendix for many years.

 

She enjoyed flying with her husband and she also had a pilot’s license, she enjoyed spending time with her Jack Russell Cuddles, gardening and especially growing flowers, and spending time with family.

 

In addition to her parents and husband Helen is preceded by her sister Lulu Kman, brothers John Geiger and Melvin Geiger.

 

Helen is survived by a daughter, Dolores and husband, Duane Alden, Tunkhannock; grandsons, Brad Alden and wife, Darla, Allentown; and Scott Alden and wife, Eden, Allentown; five great-grandchildren, Lauren and Fiancé Joe, Angela, Rachel, Benjamin and Drew Alden.
