Howard B. Wood, 85, of Springville died Sunday morning at Geisinger C.M.C. Hospital, Scranton. Born in Springville on November 11th, 1928; the son of the late Jerry and Edna Springer Wood. Howard was married to the former Jean Hobbs for 42 years. Howard loved to go fishing and hunting. Beside his parents Howard was preceded in death by two brothers Art and Donald Wood; Stepson Ronald Titus Jr. and a son in law Bill Taylor Jr. Surviving beside his wife is a daughter Jane Burgess of Tunkhannock, a son Stanley Wood of Springville, two step-daughters Lou Ann Chandeck of Washington and Wendy Titus of Lake Carey, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
