Dear Atwood an the entire family.I am so very sorry for your loss. Sending prayers, comfort and condolences to all. I understand your pain. I lost my husband just over 2 years ago and I still find it difficult to breathe. Lean heavily on God. He will get you through. Grief is individual. Take as long as you need. Don't let anyone try to rush you. Cherish your memories. My heart and prayers are with you all.

God gained the greatest Angel. I’m sure He gave her a beautiful seat. Everyone should strive to be like Janet. We all need a sliver of faith and “let go, let God” nature. Not only will Janet be missed by students at school, co-workers, church and family, we will miss her as a second-mother. Our hearts hurt, we’re broken. To “coach” and the whole family, we love you all and hope for healing hearts, because that’s what she would want.

My deepest sympathy to the Gesford and Lunger families I took care of Mrs. Gesford and Janet wrote me the loveliest letter when her mom passed thanking me for sitting with her and explaining end of life to her I still have the letter. Janet will be truly missed. Patty Clapper

I often interacted with Janet during the several years I worked at Elk Lake School. She was always very pleasant and helpful, which I greatly appreciated. My deep sympathy to all her family.
