Janice M. Hoff, 67, of Tunkhannock passed away on July 12th 2015 at her home with her family by her side. Janice was born in Doylestown on June 13th 1948, she was the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Brano) Seltzer.
She graduated from Central Bucks in 1966. After graduation she married her diner sweetheart, Phil. They resided in Bucks County while she worked for Bucks County School District. In 1972 she and her husband moved to Tunkhannock to raise their children. During that time she worked for Jay Mark Robinson as a bookkeeper. In 1979 they bought the former Bo’s Auto Body and started Phil’s Auto Body where she helped her husband run the family business. Her favorite pastime was shopping for shoes, purses and coats, along with decorating her home.
Besides her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her brother John Seltzer; and father-in-law Harold Hoff.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Philip; daughter Jennifer Hegedty and her husband John; son Christopher Hoff and his wife Nicole; grandson Kyle Hegedty; brother William Seltzer and his wife Kathy; mother-in-law Virginia Hoff; brother-in-law David Hoff and his wife Brigette ; sister-in-law Peggy Seltzer and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock on Thursday at 7pm with Pastor John Shaffer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7pm
