To All. I want to express my deepest condolences on the loss of your mom. This is a fond memory of her I'd like to share. I meet your mom when she was a nurse and then asst DON of Carpenter Care Center. I was the social worker there in the late 70s/early 80s when your mom and Mary Mc Kune were two peas in a pod. They were a great team!( really caring compassionate nurses who always did the right thing for the patient) I have to let you know what a blessing it was have your mom in my life. She was funny, easy to talk with and a great listener. I was at a cross-roads in my career. I was undecided if I should go to nursing school or continue and get a masters in social work. Your mom( and Mary) helped me to figure it out. I wound up going to nursing school and never looked back. My goal was to be a great nurse like your mom! I hope I lived up to her example. I will never forget her and just wanted to convey my story hoping it will put a smile on your faces and bring some joy in this difficult time. The last time I saw her was at Mary's funeral. I will keep her and your family in my prayers. With Sympathy Jeanne Sembrat
