Memorial Mass will be on Saturday at 11 am from Our Lady of the Abingtons Church, celebrated by Father Jack Kilpatrick.  Friends may call at the church from 9:00 – 10:45am. Leo P. Conway Jr., Archbald formerly of Factoryville, died peacefully at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore on February 20, 2017 after battling ALS.  His wife of 53 years was the late Mary Jane Walsh Conway, and preceded him in death in 2008. Born April 21, 1934, in Dunmore he was the son of the late Leo P. and Marie Loftus Conway Sr..

A graduate of University of Scranton, Leo was District Justice for Wyoming County Courts for 22 years. He was also the founder of “Down Home Homemade Rice Pudding”, and was fondly known in the area as “Puddin’ Man.”

He is survived by his sons Leo F. and wife Carol of, South Abington and Pat, Archbald; his grandchildren Christopher and wife Hannah Conway, Corpus Cristi, TX; Bridget Conway, South Abington, and Michael Miller, Philadelphia. Sister, Jeanne Marie Conway Murphy and husband Jack, Dunmore; their children Jeanne Murphy Rolen, husband Andrew, Glenmoore, PA and their children; Maureen Murphy King and husband Chris, Dunmore and their children; a special cousin Joan Steidle, Moscow, her children and their spouses;  sister-in-law Mildred Walsh and children; and many great  nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his daughter Colleen Conway Miller and her son Ryan Miller; nephew John F. Murphy Jr., and brother-in-law James Walsh.
