Linda Lee Robets, 72, of Tunkhannock died Wednesday morning at her home with her family by her side. Born in Tunkhannock on January 29th, 1942 the daughter of the late Lafayette and Mary Puterbaugh Platt. Her husband of 56 years is Clifford Lester Robets; they were married on April 3rd, 1958. Linda attended Tunkhannock Area School district. She enjoyed art, reading, current events and politics. Her greatest love was for her family and her dogs. Surviving is a daughter Michelle Thomas and husband Stephen of Tunkhannock. Four sons Fred and Clifford Jr., of Tunkhannock, Shane of Eugene, Oregon and Jason and wife Elicia of Tunkhannock. Two brothers, Richard Platt of Tubac, A.Z. and Dale Platt of Lake Winola. Thirteen grandchildren: Nathan Thomas, Stephanie Matthews, Rebecca Jurista; Adam and Preston Robets, and Megan Shea; Sarah Robets; Kristin Kayser, Jenny and Lindsey Robets; Monica, Dillon and Julia Robets. And eight great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be Sunday at 5pm from the Tunkhannock Assembly of God Church 181 Bridge St, Tunkhannock with Rev. Richard Womer officiating. Friend may call at the church from 4 to 5 pm. Interment will take place at Sunnyside Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
