Mary Grace Giannetti, 72, of Falls Twp. passed peacefully in her home Saturday afternoon. Born in Pittston on November 8th, 1941, daughter of the late James and Grace (Lonser) Hogan. Mary Grace graduated from St. John’s High School and Misercordia University. She worked as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital Surgical Unit and later at Northeastern Eye Institute. She enjoyed reading, bowling, and traveling the world. Mary Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Giannetti, and sister Jean Marie Jackson. Surviving is her son Daniel M. Giannetti, his wife Julie (Purvis) Giannetti, grandsons Gino and Rocco, and her brother James Hogan. Friends may visit Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, Tunkhannock, on Tuesday from 6 to 9pm. Mass will be at St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church, Lake Winola, at 10 am on Wednesday friends are asked to go directly to church. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
