Mary Louise Dodge, 78, of Lake Winola died at Allied Services Hospice Center, Scranton on Thursday evening March 25,2021 with her family by her side. She was born in Lake Winola on Nov. 26, 1942; daughter of the late Walter and Ruth Szerafinski. She was the beloved wife of James Dodge for 56 years.

She was a graduate of Falls-Overfield High School, Bloomsburg State Teachers College and was employed as an elementary teacher at Abington Heights School District until her retirement in 2001.  Upon retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, reading, attending her covenant bible group, and time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church.

Surviving is, her husband, James Dodge, son James Dodge and his wife Andira of Orangeville,  daughter Amy Walsh and her husband John of Dalton.  Her grandchildren John Jr., Ben, Gina, and Jessica, sister Lara Shader of Elizabethtown.  She was preceded in death by her sister Gloria Eastwood.
