Mary Saxer, 63, of Tunkhannock passed away Sept. 7th 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born in Sayre, Pa. on Apr. 29, 1954 and she was the daughter of the late Samuel Kasson and Eleanor Pauline Isbell.

She was employed at Sorel Boots and the Dollar Train in Dushore Pa.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading books, and spending time with her loving companion Joseph.

Mary was preceded in death by her companion of 22 years  Joseph J.  Lane Sr in 2010. Mother and Father  Samuel Kasson and Eleanor Isbell , Step dad Alfred Isbell, Step mother Louise Kasson, brother Leslie Isbell, stepbrothers; John Kasson, Bob May,  Phillip May,  Larry May,  stepsister Connie Nichols, and brother in law Arthur Minnier.

She is survived by her daughter Heidi and James McCarty, sons John Saxer, Raymond Saxer, sisters Marilyn Minnier, Carol and Dale Vanderpool, Wendy Cass, Brothers Robert and Sharon Kasson, David and Debbie Kasson, and several nieces, nephews and 7 grandchildren.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be private at Forkston Cemetery.
