Furneaux – Brown, 74, of Tunkhannock passed away from cancer on August 28, 2024 at home with her family by her side. Pat was born in Scranton on August 18,1950, the daughter of Lewis “Barry” and Jean Shupp Furneaux. Patricia carried on the family business of real estate and was the Owner/Broker of Endless Realty in Tunkhannock for 52 years and achieved REALTOR Emeritus member status which recognized her Realtor Association membership status of over 40 years. Pat was also Owner/Operator of the Second Wind in Tunkhannock for 40 years. She was past president of the Wyoming County Business and Professional Women’s Club, a founding member of the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce and helped bring the Communication Center for 911 to the on-line age while she was the director of Wyoming County Emergency Management. She was also a past member of the Tunkhannock Ambulance Association as a volunteer EMT. She had a strong presence in her community, and her legacy will continue to be felt for generations to come. The “picnic grove” at the family farm in Factoryville held a special place in her heart and that was where she married the love of her life, Frank. Pat loved having her family all together, with the yearly family trip to Aruba being the highlight of her year. In the last several years her ‘family’ expanded as she introduced so many of her friends to the beauty of the island. Whether you were a friend, blood family or adopted ‘family’, her love, generosity, and loyalty will surely be missed. She is survived by her husband and the love of her life for 32 years, Frank J. Brown; her son JR Rosengrant and wife Bonnie of Factoryville and her daughter Kimberly Radwanski and her husband Tom of Tunkhannock. Two sisters, Linda Brown of Atlanta, Ga her son Billy Miller and his wife Tracey and son Will; Judy and her husband Robert “Burly” Nast of Factoryville and her daughter Stevie and husband Ben and daughters Addy, Allora & Anna; and brother Colin Furneaux and wife Peg of Factoryville and children Amelia, Aliza, and Jake. Last, but not least, her six grandchildren: Chase, Connor, Christian, Gage, Jaxon, and Ryder who were the light of her life. She spoiled them all beyond reason but left them with amazing memories that will carry through their lifetimes. The family would like to thank the nurses from Allied Hospice in Clarks Summit, Deb, Jennifer, Teresa and aides Nicole and Lindsey for the excellent care they provided. Also, to Dr. Patrick Murray and wife Linda for their care for Pat over the years and during her illness. The funeral service will be Thursday Sept. 5, 2024, at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Thursday Sept. 5, 2024, at the funeral home from 4 to 7 pm.
