Rick and Karen, Sandy and Jim, Jane, Uncle Ed, and Mom (Ruth Morris), and to all of your families, to all of the grandchildren, and to all of my cousins, I wish there were words to say to help you all at this time, but there never does seem to be the right words for someone grieving. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all on Saturday as they are now and will be, for I won't be able to attend, but I will be thinking of you all. I remember as a young girl when our family would go visit Aunt Bernice and Uncle Richard at their home and we could swim in the indoor pool, I remember thinking, wow, my Uncle Richard sure is rich! Well, he was rich, rich in a different way, he was surely blessed! Then, I remember going to the outhouse too, the first one I had ever seen. I remember also the many gatherings with extended family at their home, when Grandma Darling was still with us, loved those days. Later in life, I will always remember the numerous times that Uncle Richard and Aunt Bernice stopped into mom and dad's and every time had words of wisdom and talked about the Lord and how good is he. Uncle Richard will surely be missed, that "Darling" smile with the twinkle in his eyes. He served his country and the Lord and I know he was a great role model to all of his family. I am just so glad that we started up the Darling reunions again and that he was able to attend. I know we are all so glad that we were able to help celebrate his 90th birthday too. May you all be comforted by the outpouring of love that surrounds you. We love you all. Love, Amy & Brad
