Sarah Q. (Reynolds) Conly, 71, of Lower Saucon Twp., died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at her home after a battle with brain cancer. She was the wife of George J. Conly III.

Sarah was born in San Antonio, Texas, on Jan. 11, 1946, to the late Dr. Kenneth P. and Mary I. (Quinn) Reynolds. Sarah was raised in Factoryville, where she attended Keystone Junior College, then moved to Allentown in 1967. She and her husband owned and operated Tri-City Marble Inc., Allentown, for 30 years and retired in 2006.

“Wow! What a beautiful sunrise. What a great day. Did you see that spectacular sunset?” These were typical remarks she would make practically every day. Sarah treasured life. “Aunt Sarah,” as she was affectionately called by so many, loved people. Her generosity was only exceeded by the love and encouragement she gave everyone.

In addition to her husband of 47 years, surviving are sons, Kenneth R. Conly, of Philadelphia; and Gregg R. Conly, of Los Angeles; siblings, Julie Feeney, of Allentown; Ann Lermer, of Juno Beach, Fla.; K. Paul (Lynn B.) Reynolds, William (Debbie) Reynolds, Kathleen R. (Robert) Covey, all of Factoryville.

Family and friends are invited to call from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville, followed by a graveside service at Evergreen-Woodlawn Cemetery, Factoryville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society , 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18107.
