Stephen H. Lasco, 73, of Tunkhannock passed away at his home surrounded by his family on March 9, 2022.  Stephen was born in Meshoppen on July 14, 1948, and he was the son of the late Stephen Lasco and the former Ruth Heitsman Lasco.

Steve was a graduate of the Tunkhannock High School and spend the majority of his life in Tunkhannock PA. He retired from UPS in 2008 and spent the remainder of his life living life to the fullest and doing everything he loved.  Stephen loved photography, woodworking, being outdoors, and wildlife.  He loved a good cup of coffee, discussing politics and spending time with his family and friends.  Stephen was one of the most kind and generous people with a smile that warmed anyone’s heart.

In addition to his parents Steve is preceded in death by his brother Dick Lasco.

He is survived by his daughter Brianna and husband Joshua Vanderpool, granddaughters Kennedy, Lainey, and Finley Vanderpool, sister Susanne Burke, and longtime companion Laura Kirk.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
