Warren T. “Sam” Seamans , 91, of Factoryville, Benton Twp,. died at his home on Thursday morning. Born in Factoryville on March18th 1922; the son of the late Harry W. and Vera Taylor Seamans. His late wife the former Elizabeth “Betty” Jane Gow died August 25th2003. Sam was a retired truck driver and then worked for Benton Twp. for many years. He was of Methodist faith. He attended Benton High School. Navy Veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater. A member of the Waverly Lodge #301 F &AM Masonic Lodge in Clarks Green and the VFW Abington Memorial, Clarks Summit. He loved to be outdoors and taking care of his property. Besides his wife Sam is preceded in death by a sister Lucile S. Smith; brothers Robert and Richard Seamans. Surviving is a daughter Connie Hinds and her companion David James of East Benton. Two sons Terry and his wife Pam of Factoryville and Jeffery and his wife Ruth of Factoryville.A brother William “Bill” Seamans of Factoryville Five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Service will be private and at the convenience of the family on Saturday from the Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes Inc.. Interment at Nicholson Cemetery.
