Ruth B. Seamans, 58, of Benton Twp. died Thursday morning Feb.15 at Geisinger C.M.C, Scranton. Born in Scranton on Sept. 21, 1959; the daughter of the late Januarius Bryer and the former Joan Russin of Benton Twp. Ruth is the wife of Jeffrey Seamans.
Ruth was a 1977 graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School and Marywood University. She worked in the healthcare industry as a Registered Nurse. Active member of The Church of Saint Gregory and was a CCD teacher; she also volunteered at Lackawanna Trail Elementary Center. Ruth’s favorite job was taking care of her beloved grandchildren.
Preceded in death beside her father is a brother Daniel Bryer.
Surviving beside her husband and mother is a daughter Rebecca Seamans of Benton Twp. ; two grandchildren Isabelle Shylkofski and Connor Seamans of Benton Twp.; a brother David Bryer of W.V.; a niece Holly Bryer of honesdale.
Ruth was loved by so many and will always be missed.
