Dear Sharon and family, We are very sorry to hear about Al's death. He was always very kind to our family! We remember him at the Cross Country Restaurant and later as a checker at Bricks market. He was always cheerful and loved to chat. May he rest in peace. Gene and Barb Kovalchick

Sincere condolences to Al's family. He was my boss at Shadowbrook Dairy in the late 1960s, when I, my brother and many other high school friends worked in the dairy bar scooping ice cream, washing dishes, and loving every minute of it thanks in large part to Al's presence. His frequent laughter was infectious, but we towed the line under his close oversight. I learned a great deal about hard work and how to have fun at the same time. I think our good-natured antics helped keep customers coming back.
