December 17, 1931 - May 26, 2024 Service Date: June 1, 2024 Funeral Home Harding Litwin Funeral Home Alice S. Pinnock, 92, formerly of Tunkhannock, PA passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA on May 26, 2024 after a brief illness. Alice was born on Dec. 17, 1931, in Mildred, PA, the daughter of the late William and Cora (Dieffenbach) Setzer. She married Robert S. Pinnock on June 6, 1953 and shared 70 years with the love of her life. Alice was a graduate of the Robert Packer hospital where she received her degree as a registered nurse. She was employed for many years at McLean in Simsbury, CT and Greenbriar Nursing Home in Nashua, NH as she raised two sons. She enjoyed hiking, camping, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Alice volunteered with the Nashua Soup Kitchen, Meals on Wheels, and the American Cancer Society. She was also an active member of the Lutheran church in Simsbury, CT and Nashua, NH. Alice and Bob spent many years in Frostproof, Florida at their summer residence before retiring at Masonic Village- Elizabethtown. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her brothers Ralph Setzer, Roy Setzer, Cloyd Setzer, and sisters Beulah Chiplis, and Floy Comelitti. In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by her sons, E. Mark and wife Alissa Pinnock of W. Simsbury, CT and John and wife Heather of St. Louis, MO, three grandchildren; Jamie, Alison and Eddie Pinnock of St. Louis, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sat. June 1st at 6pm from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, Pa. 18657. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-6pm. Interment will be at a later date at the Overfield Cemetery.Alice S. Pinnock
