Funeral Service will be Thursday Aug. 5, 2021 at Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock at 12 noon with pastor Harold Schorr officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10am to 12 noon.  A memorial Service will be held Friday Aug.27, 2021 at 6pm from the Franklintown Fire Hall at 107 S Baltimore St Franklintown.

Allen (Willie) Lee Wehler,67, of Tunkhannock died Saturday July 31, 2021 at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock.   He was born in Carlisle on June 30, 1954; the son of the late Paul Eugene and Verda King Wehler.

Allen graduated from Northern York County High School. Allen worked as a sexton at the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church. He loved baseball and umpiring games.  Allen was especially proud of the games that he umpired at Cooperstown.  He enjoyed drinking coffee with his morning crew at Curry Donuts.  Allen also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, NASCAR and going to Williams Grove Speedway for sprint races.

Allen is survived by his two sons Allen C. Wehler and wife Kimberly of Tunkhannock and Harold S. Wehler and fiancé  Dez Petrikonis of Laceyville.  Two sisters Dianne Jain and her husband Raj of Warrington and Deborah Walker and husband John of East Berlin; grandson Jayson Wehler and many nieces and nephews.
