Angelique P. Harding, 94 of Tunkhannock died Tuesday evening at Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock, after an illness. She was born on Russell Hill, daughter of the late Edward and Rachel Bush Prevost. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John T. Harding in 2007. She was a member of the Russell Hill United Methodist Church; she worked as a secretary for the Penn State Extension office in Wyoming County for 38 years. She was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School, class of 1937, and graduated from Wyoming Seminary Business School in 1938. She worked for the Pa. Dept of Agriculture Dog Law Division, for 4 years, and then worked as a secretary for several years for the Army Signal Corp in Washington, DC, before coming back to Wyoming County to work for the Penn State Extension office until she retired. She and her husband operated a dairy farm in Tunkhannock and in 1978 they opened Harding’s Dairy Bar on their farm which is still in operation today. She enjoyed horses, running their farm and Dairy Bar and Traveling. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Judson and Lester Prevost and two sisters Pauline Sands and Cecelia Taylor. She is survived by her son Edward and his wife Laureen, Two granddaughters: Emma and Grace Harding of Tunkhannock, two sisters: Barbara and her husband Orin Jaquish of Tunkhannock and Carol and her husband Bill Streater of Harvey Lake and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11am at the Russell Hill United Methodist Church, Pastor Gil Clark, officiating. Interment will be in Prevost Cemetery, Russell Hill.
