Carol McGinley, 82, of Tunkhannock passed away at the Holy Family Residence on Oct. 31, 2018. She was born in Swoyersville on May 19, 1936 and she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Miterko Hallaes.

Carol was a CPA, a Teacher at Lackawanna College and a Tax preparer at H&R Block.
Carol enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and going to church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Edward McGinley who passed in 2010.

She is survived by her children; Anthony and wife Brenda McGinley of Drums, Cathy and husband Jeff Franko, of Tunkhannock, Ed and wife Jennifer McGinley of Clark Summit, and Holly and husband Ken Madara of Churchville, Pa.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family, and interment will take place at the St. Nicholas Cemetery, Swoyersville.
