Cindy Jo Tokach Johnson, age 63 of Forkston, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 7^th, 2021, at Regional Hospital in Scranton.

Cindy was born June 18^th, 1958, in Meshoppen, the daughter of the late Nicholas Tokach, who passed away on July 30^th, 1982, and Anna Drobish Tokach, who passed away on July 30^th, 2007.

Cindy graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School, class of 1976. She grew up on the family farm on Indian Hill in Laceyville until she married Art Johnson. She worked for Staff Management at the Proctor and Gamble Paper in Mehoopany and Wal-Mart.

Cindy is survived by her husband Art, son Nicholas, sisters Susanne Smith of Meshoppen; Doris Storey and husband Fred Storey Sr. of Laceyville: her sister-in law Freda Tokach of Laceyville: her nieces and nephews; Stephen Smith of Meshoppen, Theron Smith and wife Mary of Enola, PA; Rhodonna Hart of Syracuse, NY; Fred Storey Jr. of Laceyville; Jacqueline Tokach of Harrisburg, PA; Judy Wildonger and husband Jim of Wyalusing.

Cindy loved to crochet, go to craft shows, tend to her flower garden, and ride the golf cart at her sister’s residence in Meshoppen. Cindy was a loving wife, mother, sister, sister-in law, and aunt.
