Connie M. Smith, 75, of Nicholson died Wednesday July 19, 2023 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley in Wilkes-Barre.
She was born in Nicholson, the daughter of the late Dan P. and Pearl L. Klein Smith.
She was a loving and kind sister, aunt, and great aunt. There was nothing more important to her than her family and she will be dearly missed.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Geisinger Wyoming Valley ICU for the wonderful care that Connie received and her caregiver Lisa Mazzanti.
She was preceded in death by her; brother Robert D. Smith.
She is survived by two brothers Kenneth Smith and companion Peggy Warner of Binghamton, NY and David Smith of Taylor. Four sisters Wanda and her husband Tom Schofield of Factoryville, and Catherine and her husband Robert Peterson of Lake Winola, Peggy Smith of LaPlume, Sally Rapp of Scranton; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Smith of Clarks Summit; Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be on Monday July 24 at 10 a.m. from the Anthony P. Litwin Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville with Pastor Jean Blackie officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday July 23 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Interment will be at the Nicholson Cemetery.
