Dorothy A. Brown, 78, of Factoryville died Saturday morning at Geisinger C.M.C, Scranton. Born in Scranton on September 26th 1935; the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Fritch Venskytis. Her husband the late Ronald M. Brown died in 1994. She was a 1953 graduate of Scranton Technical High School; a member of the Honor Society, Spanish Club, Student Advisory Council. A past Social Secretary for the Factoryville Women’s Club. Retired as a staff member of the Physical Plant for Keystone Jr. College. A Loving Mother, Grandmother and great-grandmother that had a passion for BINGO. Surviving are four children; Michael of Scranton; Terri Lynn Curtis and her husband Donald of Lake Winola; Ronald F. and his wife Karen of Nicholson; Richard and his wife Gloria of Dallas. Fourteen Grandchildren Misty, Melina, Erica, Michael Jr., Danielle, Donald IV, Samantha, Stephen, Joshua, Morgan, Dylan, Jared, Thomas and Timothy. Eight Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Three sisters: Eleanor of Clarks Summit; Marion of Scranton; and Catherine of Factoryville. Two brothers: Joseph of Penn-Yan, NY and Frank of N.C. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 7pm from the Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St, Factoryville with Rev. John Shaffer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm.
