George A. Lancaster, Sr. passed away Thursday Nov. 15^th at the Moses Taylor Hospital.  George was born in Factoryville on Feb. 19, 1936 and he was the son of the late James and Elizabeth Ross Lancaster.  George was married to the former Jane Smith for 20 years.  George was a technician at Proctor and Gamble and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and car racing.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother James Lancaster, Jr, and two sisters Betty Oslin and Peggy Galiger.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his sister Jean Fahl of Easton, Pa, and a son George, JR. and wife Frances Lancaster of Mill City.
