George Quick, 83, of Lake Winola passed away at the Geisinger CMC Scranton on April 12, 2023.  George was born in Johnson City, NY, on Oct. 16, 1939. He was the Son of the late Glenn Charles and Elnor Gardner Quick.  He was married to the late former Marion Kathryn Lovallo for over 55 years.  George worked in the maintenance department at the Tunkhannock School District.

George graduated from the Abington High School in 1959 and he enjoyed working on his antique cars, watching wrestling, and he was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army as a Flying Crew Chief.

In addition to his parents and wife George is preceded in death by 3 siblings Glenn William Quick, Sarah Sjogren, and Jonah Quick.

He is survived by his two daughters Kimberly and husband Jeremy Campbell and Deborah Quick and husband Nathan Tersteeg. He is also survived by a grandson Scot Campbell and a great grand- daughters Alexandria Campbell and Mia Poland,  and a Brother Floyd Quick.

A memorial service will be held Friday April 21st, at 11am from the Harding-Litwin Funeral home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Rev. James Rugg officiating.  Friends may call from 10am until the time of the service.  For online condolences or directions visit www.aplitwinfuneralhomes.com.
