Jacqueline M. Strumski, 79, of Tunkhannock passed away at the VNA Hospice, Scranton on Apr. 14, 2016.  She was born in Vernon, Pa. on Jan. 30, 1937 and she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Forgash.  Jacqueline was a 1955 graduate of the Tunkhannock High School and she worked as a seamstress making Jackets.  Jacqueline was married to Francis B. Strumski, Jr. for 57 years.

In addition to her husband Jacqueline is survived by her daughter Rose Marie and her husband Thomas James of Dalton, grandson Thomas James, Jr. and his fiancé Michelle Antione of Clarks Summit, her sister Dorothy and husband Harry Faux of Vernon, , nephews James Faux and Harry Faux, Jr. of Vernon, nieces Deborah Dulsky of Centermoreland, and Barbara Faux of Vernon.

A mass of Christian burial will be held 10am Saturday at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Tunkhannock.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.  For online condolences or directions visit www.aplitwinfunralhomes.com.
