Joyce Tripp Colvin, 81, of Factoryville, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at Mountain View Care Center, Scranton.

She was born in Clarks Summit on June 1, 1937, the daughter of the late Harold and Alice Ross Tripp. Joyce married the love of her life the late Harry Colvin on April 1, 1955.

She was a member of the Factoryville United Methodist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Red Hats. She was a Welfare Caseworker for many years.  She worked side by side with her husband as a dairy farmer for most of their life and more recently had been a Clinton Township auditor. A member of the Abington Allemanders Square Dancing Club:, life-long Republican and a past Cub Scout Leader for pack 175. The family would like to thank Dr. Kondash and all moms caregivers, for their compassion and care to Joyce.

Joyce was preceded in death by a sister Marcia Dickman and a brother Charles “Butch” Tripp.

Joyce is most proud of her family: a daughter Ronna (Joe) Clark of Waverly and a son Jerry (Michelle) of Factoryville; four grandchildren Bryan and Kylee Colvin and Courtney and Karen Clark; a great-granddaughter Laila Colvin.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, Aug.7, at 11:30 a.m. at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes Inc., 33 Reynolds St., Factoryville with Pastor T.J. McCabe officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 to 11:30 am. Interment at Evergreen-Woodlawn Cemetery, Factoryville.
