Maryann Keppard, 87, of Tunkhannock formerly of Philadelphia passed away at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital on March 29, 2024. She was born on April 8th, 1936, in Philadelphia and she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Baron. Maryann was married to the late Walter R. Keppard, Sr. on March 2, 1962 and Walter passed away on July 30, 2013.

Maryann enjoyed reading, traveling, music, parties, and spending time with her family. Her philosophy on life was to remain youthful in mind and spirt. She enjoyed living life to the fullest.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her sisters Barbara Tyler, Eugenia Kraynik, brother John Baron, Jr., and a daughter Doris J. Clark.

She is survived by her children; Judy and husband Scott Walburn of Tunkhannock and Walter Keppard. Jr. of Tunkhannock, and William Burke, of Fort Myers, Fl., grandchildren; Kristen and husband Ian Schenck, Kelly and husband Joseph Mosluk, Allison and husband Robert Schultz, great grandchildren; Steven and Samantha Bognatz, Natalie and Landon Bolcavage, Emily, Bobby, and Lainey Schultz, Mason Schenck, and Owen Leidy, sisters Patricia Gelzinis & Dorothy Ferris.

A viewing will be held Sunday April 7th from 5 to 7pm with a funeral service to be conducted immediately following at 7pm at Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga Tunkhannock. Burial will be held at the Hillside Cemetery 2556 Susquehanna Road Roslyn, PA 19001 on April 8th at 11am. All are welcome.
