I am so sorry for this loss. I just found out about Rudy’s passing when scrolling through an old Facebook post and clicking on his page. My sister and I used to work with him at Isabella and he was actually the chef for my wedding almost 6 years ago. Words cannot even express how sad I am about his passing. Rudy was one of the nicest people I knew and was always so fun to be around. He would do anything for anyone. May he Rest In Peace ❤️

I still am in complete disbelief that Rudy is gone. He was my first cousin. We weren't the closest but he was always a part of my life. He was an extremely talented chef and a great father. I remember the last time I saw him, he came to my house and I took him to see my university. When we were in the car together, as we were talking, I couldn't stop thinking about how smart he was when it came to so many different topics. When I heard the news, I was in shock. I still don't want to believe that this is reality. I wish I could've been closer with him and could've been helpful to him. We need to help all of those people who are going through difficult times and are dealing with addiction. Too many beautiful lives have been taken by the evil that is drugs. Rest in peace, Rudy. You will be missed.

My condolences to you, dear family. And many happy memories of Rudy be with you. But when sadness comes, may these loving promises from Jehovah God help you to endure. "Do not be anxious....but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7; Isaiah 25:8 NWT

Paul and Elaine, I never met Rudy but heard of his passing last week during our church service at Evans Falls United Methodist Church. Your grief must be unimaginable and all I can is to continue to pray for all those who are facing a world without their beloved son, father, partner and friend. Grace upon you all.

Elaine and Paul, I am so saddened to read of this and my heart aches for the pain you must be feeling now. To lose a child is something that no one should have to endure and I pray you will be upheld by the love of those around you and the thoughts and prayers of many of us who know you. Prayers also for the rest of your family and friends affected by this terrible tragedy. I am so sorry. xo

Dear Elaine and Paul I cannot believe you have lost your precious son, My heart aches for you both, I do know this that the last 2 years he has known true parental love in trying to achieve normalcy and be clean and sober.. Now he is in the arms of our Lord now forever clean and sober and knowing God's love. He Left us too soon, but is in a place where he will grow and thrive, he will always be by your side. No amount of words or time will erase your pain, but time will allow you to remember the good times, remember when he was an innocent child in his mom's arms. and becoming a father. My love prayers are with you always, warm hugs XXX Bari

Rudy was a part of our lives for a long time. His partner Jennifer was our daughter and between the two of them, they had two beautiful and loving children, our grandchildren, Lacy Quinn and Stanton Nicholas. He will be missed by them and our family. He had an amazing talent in cooking and the memories we have of his food will always be with us, it was all great. When we are born, we become part of the Circle of Life and unfortunately sometimes we get caught in that vicious circle and never find the opening to experience life and all of its beauty. Rudy became part of that continuous circle and was unable to find the strength to find that opening and close it. I always believed there was much more to Rudy then most believed, he had a wall that kept him distant from a great deal of things. He was a loving father to his children and I know he loved our daughter. Rudy is now able to be free from that circle of struggle and the Universal energies will guide him through the next journey of his life, to help others try and overcome his own personal struggles. His parents are strong and loving and want to make addiction awareness known throughout this hard world we live in. Rudy will now be a constant Guardian Angel to his children, Lacy and Stanton and we, his family, will make sure they know the kind, loving and caring man their father was during his short life... Rudy, I celebrate your life with continuous love and continue to be your believer... I am grateful to have know you in this life and I'm sure we'll see each other in our continued journeys. Namaste!

I didn't know Rudy well. But, I know how much he meant to his family. I will always remember his kind, gentle demeanor. And, of course, the wonderful meals he prepared for our Angels reunions. He is at peace now. I pray others who struggle with drug addiction and mental illness seek help that they may live a full life with all the good things it has to offer.
