Ruth M. McGuigan, 94, of Factoryville formerly of Dalton died Sunday at V.N.A Hospice at Geisinger C.M.C. Born in Geneva, N.Y. on February 10, 1920 the daughter of the late Phillip and Flossie VanHuben Gragion. Prior to her retirement Ruth worked for Clarks Summit State Hospital as a nurse’s aid. Ruth was an avid reader of the Civil War and was a sports enthusiast. She loved to follow the Jets and Dodgers and she enjoyed bowling. Surviving are her six children: Ellen White husband James of Factoryville, Michael J. of Nicholson, Daniel F. wife Barbara of Nicholson, Mary G. McGuigan of Clarks Summit, Vincent J. wife Ellen of Glenburn, Sean P. wife Amy of Factoryville. Eleven Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Great-Grandchild. Memorial Mass will be Thursday at 10am from Our Lady of Snows Church, 301 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA, friends are asked to go directly to church. Interment at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
