Stella Litwin 89 of Tunkhannock formerly of Auburn Twp., died Thursday morning at home. She was born in Olyphant, Nov. 7, 1924, daughter of the late Cornelius and Anastasia Jarovozoska Senkow. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Anthony Litwin in 1988. She graduated from Rush High School, class of 1942 and worked at several garment and Shoe factories over the years. She was a member of the Church of the Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary, Tunkhannock. She was preceded in death by a daughter Bertha S. Litwin in 1974 and two brothers: Walter and Gerald Senkow. She is survived by two sons Anthony Litwin Jr and his wife Linda of Springville and Charles Litwin and his wife Marie of Nicholson, grandchildren: Paul and wife Paula Litwin, Meredith and husband Ryan Johnson, John and wife Leslie Litwin, Aileen and husband Phil Shafer, Charles Jr. and wife Jaclyn Litwin, Rebekah and husband Brian Stanco and Marja and husband Shawn Robbins, 14 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will Held Tuesday at 10am at the Church of the Nativity BVM, Tunkhannock, friends may go directly to the Church, Friends may call on Monday from 3 to 6pm at the Harding –Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W.
