Steven M. Chagnon, 53, of W. Abington Twp. died Tuesday morning at Geisinger C.M.C with his family by his side. Born in Middletown Ct. on March 6th, 1961 the son of the late Charles S. who died in 1992 and late Jeannette Kinney Chagnon who died in 2007. Steven was a self-employed painter, he enjoyed tinkering with his vehicles and go-carts, loved to be in the outdoors, and he was an avid Red Sox Fan. Steven is survived by his wife the former Marie DeMeo and they were married on April 16th, 2005. Son Michael Skidgel and grandson Austin Skidgel of Caribou Maine; stepson Jocko Harvey of Stroudsburg, two brothers Charles Reed of Ft. Myers, Fla. And Ronald Chagnon of Lebanon, Tenn. ; sister Nancy Davis of Ransom; niece Nicole Stombaugh of Scranton. The family will have a gathering of friends at the family home in West Abington on Saturday from 1-4 pm. Interment at Evergreen-Woodlawn Cemetery, Factoryville will take place at a later date.
