“Susie” Murach, 64, a proud resident of Thurston Hollow passed away at The Gardens at East Mountain on Dec. 12, 2023.  She was born in Johnson City on Nov. 30, 1959, and she was the daughter of the late Don and Betty Jean Felton Manzer.  Susie was raised by her grandmother Audrene Felton, and she was married to Kenneth Buddha Murach for 13 years.

Susie will be remembered for her cooking and baking as she could make any cake or bake good you could imagine.  She also managed many of the bakeries here in Tunkhannock.  She was a member of the Tunkhannock Moose Lodge, Moose Lodge Dart team, and she loved doing crafts.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Christopher Melia of Thurston Hollow, brothers Randy Manzer of Tunkhannock, Mike and wife Dorleen Manzer of Tunkhannock, nephew Mick Manzer of Tunkhannock, nephew Sean Murach of Thurston Hollow, and a niece Ava Jean Terrance, of Scott Twp, brother in law Ed and wife Chelsea Murach of Thurston Hollow, brother in law Ron and wife Judy Murach, of Thurston Hollow, mother in law Jan Murach of Thurston Hollow, aunt Carol Rhines of Keelersburg, and her beloved cats; Naughie and Miss Kitty.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
