Wesley Spencer, 76, of Tunkhannock passed away at his home Monday. He was born in Canton, Pa. on July 15, 1939 and he was the son of the late Clarence and Maud Phipps Spencer. Wesley was a graduate of the Canton High School and he earned a degree from Penn State University in Agronomy. Wesley married the former Anne Marie Gallo on Dec. 27, 1964.

Wesley was a Director of the Endless Mountains Barbershop Chorus for 20 years, and a member of Southern Tier Barbershop, and he worked at Agway for 29 years and Prudential for 12 years.

In addition to his parents Wesley is preceded in death sister Ellen Powell, brother Phillip Spencer, brother-in-laws Paul Mulford and John Lightfoote.

In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters Kelly Spencer of Tunkhannock, Susan and husband John Pylypciw of Palmyra, son John and wife Debbie Spencer Carlisle, brothers Stan and wife Carol Spencer of NY, Steve and wife Hildegard Spencer of State College, sisters Margaret Mulford of NY and Evelyn Lightfoote, NY, a nephew Marvin and his wife Sherry Spencer of Troy, and 3 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Saint. Peter’s Episcopal Church 3832 SR. 6 Tunkhannock, Pa. 18657 on Sat. Dec. 19^th at 11am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church. For online condolences visit www.aplitwinfuneralhomes.com
