Zachary & Erica Dymond tragically lost their lives on the evening of February 18, 2023, leaving behind a beloved son Sawyer Joseph Liam.  Zach was born on October 2, 1985 in Tunkhannock. He was the son of Clifford & Maureen Dymond and was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School Class of 2004.  Erica was the daughter of Joel C Robinson & Cathy Robinson.  She was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School Class of 2003.

After graduation, Zach joined the Carpenter Union #441 and he just recently opened a sawmill. After graduating from high school, Erica attended IUP Punxsutawney & graduated with an Associate’s degree from Keystone College. She was employed at Mountain Energy services for over 11 years as Manager of Client Services.

Zach & Erica shared an adventerous spirit and enjoyed many journeys after high school making a village of friends and memories. They were married on July 24, 2010 in Forkston, PA. The true love of their lives was their beloved son Sawyer, they were peas in a pod. Both Zach & Erica loved camping and being outdoors, they passed that love onto their son.

Zach was preceded in death by his grandfather’s James Byrnes & Joseph Dymond, and grandmother Celeste Dymond. Erica was preceded in death by her grandfather Donald S Ferris, great-grandmothers Gertrude E Smalser & Dorothy Benninger, great grandparents Bruce & Julia Arrowood.

In addition to their loving son Sawyer and their parents, Zach is survived by his brother Lucas J. (Kim) Dymond and nephews Mason & Colt and niece Ryan Lynn, grandmother Helen Byrnes, Uncles Peter and Dennis Byrnes, James Dymond, Joseph (Jackie) Dymond and aunt Debra (Bill) Lamoureux.  Erica is survived by her sister Abbey (Jon) Carpenter nieces Ruby, Fiona & Violet, along with her very best friend Jillian McGrady, and her most special and loving grandparents Lewis & Marilyn Robinson and Marilyn Ferris.
Also surviving Erica are her Uncles Lewis (Theresa) Robinson, Adam (Denise) Robinson, Chandler (Lorrie) Robinson, Chris (Cindy) Ferris, Curtis (Kim) Ferris, Aunts Cheryl Ferris, Cherie (James) Repsher, Carla (Brett) Tewksbury and many loving cousins.
