I have so many wonderful memories of the man who taught me how to fly! I wish I had known that Bob had moved back to the area from Ohio. I would have loved to visit with him had I known. Bob was a true pioneer of the sport of hang gliding in Northeast Pennsylvania - his name is well known by most all the pilots in the area. He will surely be missed. I know I will greatly miss his gentle spirit and words of wisdom.

Bob, Carol, Jason & Brandon, it's been sometime since I've seen you all but my for deepest kept memories included you all when you would visit Bob & Helen. They were amazing people and I enjoyed seeing my time visiting the house in Mile Rd for hours at a time. Bob's love for flying his airplanes ways drew the neighborhood kids over to watch. My love & sympathy to you all.

FROM: Allen & Donna Brooks Bob and Helen were next-door neighbors of ours for many years. We just got notice of Bob's passing and are very sorry to hear about it. We visited with him at the Manor and also at Golden Living. He was always smiling and glad to see us. Our dog, Sugar, used to run from our house to theirs, to the point where there was a path leading from ours to theirs!! We also remember Bob flying model airplanes in the back yard. We remember the wonderful afghans and doilies Helen made - we still have and use them! We will sincerely keep you in our prayers; we miss such wonderful neighbors; please take care, and God bless. Our email is above. You are always welcome as our guests when you are in town. Allen & Donna Brooks 2/28/2015

Uncle Bob was one of the nicest persons you would ever want to meet. He always had a smile on his face and a gentlemen's hand shake to greet you. My favorite memory of him was his working on the old Model T Ford he had in the barn on Tioga Street. We will all miss him but the memories will remain.

Dear Bob, Carol,Jason and Brandon - please accept our sincere sympathy. We can certainly understand your sadness. Visiting Tunkhannock was something we looked forward to every summer. The good times with Uncle Bob, Aunt Helen and you will always be cherished memories. Aunt Margie, Aunt Helen and Uncle Paul - you all have a special place in my heart and I am also sorry for your loss. From the dirt bike rides to the slumber parties with pizza and ice cream - to letting little Donald's butterflies escape -thanks for the memories. Uncle Bob is looking down with the family and smiling.
